Hi! I’m Umayah and I am a Year 10 student who is going into Year 11. I love to read books and especially when they have a medical theme. Apart from reading, I love to binge shows on Netflix and have started to enjoy cooking. I started with Medic Mentor at the end of last year and I am thrilled to be working with my peers in the Book Club Committee.

On a side note, I recommend that all aspiring medics read; ‘This Is Going to Hurt’ by Adam Kay. A non- medical book I would recommend would be; ‘Animal Farm’ by George Orwell.
